Good day to you all from Texas and this Wednesday is the last day of 2025 and it sure seems like this year went fast. I hope everybody had a great Christmas and I’m praying that we have a great new Year. Pray for us out here, Lord willing, we will be starting a motorcycle ministry called, ” Crucified “. Our devotion today is called, ” You cannot drive and look in the rearview mirror at the same time” Philippians Chapter Three verses 13 and 14 says, brothers, I do not count myself to have apprehended, but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I pressed toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. The Hardest Year I Left Behind was 2003 when my twin brother Pastor Mike went home to be with the Lord. Going into 2004 was such a struggle because my twin was no longer part of my life.
When Paul says to forget those things that are in the past I don’t believe he’s saying we can’t think about them but he is saying not to let those things rule your life. We must realize we have a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11, And God does not want us to live a defeated life by living in the past. We only have two days left in 2025 and then we’re starting a brand New year. We cannot run a race looking behind us 1st Corinthians 9:24-27. That doesn’t mean we can’t share fond memories or talk about our loved ones but we must move on with our life and realize they’re not in our past they’re in our future. Finally. brethren , whatever things are true , wherever things are noble , whatever things are just, Whatever things are pure , Whatever things are lovely , whatever things are of good report , if there is any virtue and if there’s anything praiseworthy meditate on these things. Philippians 3:13-14. May our great God and Savior give you comfort through these times and help us Lord to keep looking up for our redemption draws near. Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
