Happy Tuesday, we have one day left of 2025 and we have come to the end of this year. Another year over, and a new one is about to begin. The title of our devotion today is called, ” Until the end ” John chapter 13 and verse 1 says, now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. And for us here on this planet, how have we done this year in 2025? How many people have we shown love to? How many have we forgiven? How many have we helped? How many have we shown the gospel to and shared the gospel with? As we leave this year it is always good to reflect on what we have done throughout the year and was it pleasing to our Heavenly Father.
If you’re like me you will feel like you haven’t done enough but I believe we do a lot without even realizing it. I really don’t believe in New Year resolutions but I do believe in trying to do better the next year. There is no doubt that Jesus did exactly what He was supposed to do in this life and what He told his disciples at the end in John chapter 13 and verse 15 Jesus said, I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. He had just finished washing their feet, the lowest job there was And remember He is King of Kings. What a great example we have to follow after and that is the example of Jesus who loved them until the end. That’s what everything stems from is love, if we have God’s love until the end whether it’s the year or our life we have done good. Have a blessed end of the year and always remember that Jesus loves you!
