Good day to you all from Texas. Thank you all for your prayers, Our brand new granddaughter Ella James Lewis will be coming home to Texas next week, Thank you Jesus. The title of our devotion today is called, ” My fair share ” Matthew chapter 20 and verse 16 says, so the last will be first, and the first last, for many are called, but few chosen. The story leading up to this verse is a farmer hiring people to work and to make a Long story short at the end of the day he pays the last person hired the same as the first person that was hired. Those that were hired first began to complain about their finances and the farmer tells them I paid you what I told you I would pay you.
And isn’t it the same with salvation, the person that gets saved at the very end will receive the same salvation as everybody else even though they didn’t put in any work and a good example of this is the thief on the cross. Jesus told him, Today you will be with me in paradise. What does this show? It shows the grace and the mercy and the love of the Lord towards people. 2nd Peter Chapter Three says God is not willing that any perish but that all come to repentance, 2nd Peter 3:9. In a world full of greediness, I, me, mine, mindset. Who is willing to be a giver not a taker? Who is willing to pick up their cross, deny themselves, and follow Jesus? Who is willing to be a God pleaser? Instead of a people pleaser! When it comes down to my fair share I want to be more concerned about the spiritual side of things than the material. Have a blessed and wonderful Wednesday and remember I will go live tonight at 6:00 PM California time 8 Texas, we will be in the book of Acts. And always remember that Jesus loves you!
