Good day to you all and remember I will be going live tonight at 6:00 California time 8:00 Texas time. Today’s devotion is called, “Turn away or burn away” Proverbs chapter 1 and verse 23 says, Turn at my rebuke, surely I will pour out my spirit on you, I will make my words known to you. How does God’s rebuke work? I don’t wanna put words in the mouth of God that is for sure but I know personally when God came after me my life began to change because I began to think about God and things began to go wrong, at least according to what I was thinking. When you rebuke somebody you come against them and what they’re saying or doing. When this happens the person being rebuked has a choice, to turn from their sin or continue in it. To continue is gambling with your soul because we never know when we’re going to be called out of this life but to turn from sin means God will pour out His spirit on us.
And it says here in Proverbs chapter one and verse 23 that He will make Himself known to us. Isn’t that a blessing that God would make Himself known to us? I don’t know about you, but that blows my mind that God would allow us into his thoughts! And through all this we will become the people that God intended us to be. We can all strive to be better Fathers, Mothers, brothers, sisters, friends and that is a very good thing but the best way we can be all those and be the best is by following after the ways of the Lord! God will train us to be the best at whatever we want because He created and knows what is best for us. Turn away from your sin or burn away in it. The choice is up to us isn’t it? Have a wonderful blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
