Good Monday morning to everybody and please continue to pray for our country that we will overcome the evil that has come upon us. Our Devotion today is called, “He gives and He guards” Proverbs 2 verses 5 through 8 Says, Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom, from his mouth come knowledge and understanding, He stores up sound wisdom for the upright, He is a shield to those who walk uprightly, He guards the paths of justice and preserves the way of his Saints. The Lord from heaven is a giver. He gave of Himself when He came to this earth and provided a way to heaven, John 3:16. He also gives gifts to men according to Ephesians chapter 4 verse 8. And those are the abilities that we have today.
Whether it’s in music, teaching, helps or whatever it might be. But He also guards us verse 7 and 8 And He does that by putting His angels in charge over us. Psalm 91:11. As we guard our children God guards His children and He does these things because He loves us so much. The last thing here talks about preserving in verse 8. It’s amazing to think that God preserves us, Keeps us in all our ways, Watch’s over us. And it is all because of how much He loves us. Let’s give Him thanks for what He does for us each and every day.
I’ll bet when we get to heaven God’s gonna put on big screen T.V. and show us all the times that He protected us and kept us from evil And I’ll bet it’s going to blow our mind how much He was involved in our life and watching over us and guarding us throughout our life, Thank you Jesus.
