Happy Friday to everybody and I pray you have a blessed and wonderful weekend and please continue to pray for the leadership in our country and for ICE as they go through our country cleaning house. Our devotion on this Friday is called, “Our ways are before His eyes ” Proverbs Chapter 5 and verse 21 says, For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he ponders all his paths. Second Chronicles Chapter 16 and verse 9 says, For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. For the child of God these are very encouraging scriptures knowing that our Heavenly Father watches over us like a good Dad.
The scriptures right before proverbs chapter 6 and verse 21 speak of sexual immorality and how we are to keep ourselves clean from sexual immorality and if you are married that you are to just show affection to your wife or your husband. It’s sad to say that the divorce rate in the church is about the same as the divorce rate in the world which is somewhere around 50%. If people would obey what God has to say There would be a lot less broken homes, there would be a lot less step dads and step moms, And a lot less misery. God’s word does not rub us the right way. Sometimes it is the rough sandpaper to get us the way we are supposed to be but it’s always for the good. For those of you men who struggle with sexual immorality I would suggest that you get the book, “Every man’s battle!” To know that God is watching helps me to stay on the straight and narrow path and I hope it does you also.
