Let It Be Known

Good day to everyone and I pray you have a wonderful day. And our devotion today is called, “Let it be known” Proverbs Chapter 6 verses 20 and 21 say, my son, Keep your father’s command, And do not forsake the law of your mother. Bind them continually upon your heart, Tie them around your neck. In the day that this was written they would wear scripture on their forehead with jewelry and on their wrists and around their neck So scripture was all over them. Nowadays I see people tattooing scripture on themselves which I have no problem with. My wife and I have scriptures all over our house hanging on the wall and when our kids were growing up Tina had cassette tapes with people singing scripture.

When I was first saved I remember singing many of the songs at church, Calvary Chapel Paramount And as I was reading the Bible I found out that a lot of the songs that we sang were actually Scripture and it helped me to memorize verses. Deuteronomy 6 verses 4 through 7 says, here, O Israel, The LORD our God. The LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, With all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, When you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. Let it be Known by Scriptures being everywhere whether it’s tattoos, Hanging on the walls, Around your neck, or your wrists and especially in your heart let the word of God be known to all. Have a wonderful blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
