. Pray for Jason and Michelle, their trip is already over and they are heading back to Nevada today at 5:00 o’clock so please pray for a safe trip. Our devotion today is called, ” Not what they appear ” Proverbs Chapter 13 and verse 7 says, there is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing; And one who makes himself poor, yet has great riches. Years ago when I was a young man I worked for my future father in law Clifford who had a trucking company. And there would be a guy who would come and deliver candy. He drove an old flatbed truck, he had duct tape around his shoes and to look at him you would think he was just getting by. Back then I found out that that man was worth $5 million. Usually, not all the time people get wealthy by pinching pennies, in other words they do not spend money unless they have to.

And then you find those that look as if they have millions in the bank. They drive a new car and have fancy clothes but if you were to look at their bank account it would probably be close to zero and this is not true with everybody but it is true quite a bit. So what is the moral of the story? The moral of the story is don’t be something you’re not especially if you’re not rich don’t act as if you are. I can understand the rich man looking the way he did because he wasn’t putting on a show. That was just him! The greatest riches we could ever have are the riches that are found in Christ Jesus and when you find those riches you will never be able to hide them. You will begin to tell the world you have found the greatest thing in the universe which is Jesus. And that’s real! Please continue to pray for our military in Iran, our
