Joy Comes In The Morning

Happy Friday morning to you all and I pray we all have a blessed weekend. Our Devotion on this Friday is called, ” Joy come in the morning “. Proverbs Chapter 17 in verse 25 says, a foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her who bore him. As a father I felt both grief with my children and joy. I can honestly say that my boys have ended up great husbands, And great fathers. Jason, Joe, Doug, and Jerek are young men that I can definitely be proud of. I would like to encourage younger fathers or Mothers that are maybe dealing With a rebellious son or daughter not to lose hope and not to get frustrated but to continue to pray for your children that the Lord God Almighty would get a hold of their heart and turn them into the person that they are supposed to be. Psalms chapter 30 and verse 5 says, for His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life, weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Because we love all of our children It will cause us grief of heart when they are doing bad but always remember that God is greater than anything the devil is causing, 1st John Chapter 4 and verse 4 says, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. While raising our children let’s show them more love than anger and discipline and realize we were once there ourselves. And by the way our daughters Angie, Melainie. Chelsea, and Michelle are awesome wives and mothers and I just want to say thank you Jesus for the work that you have done. I pray that you all have a blessed weekend and always remember that Jesus loves you!
