I’ve Fallen and I Can Get Up

Good day, Friday is here and I hope you all have a blessed weekend. Our devotion today is called, ” I’ve fallen and I can get up ” Proverbs 24 and verse 16 says, for a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity. There are many guarantees in this life and one of them guarantees is that we will fall or fail. But as a child of God I do not have to stay there. I can learn from my experience and allow God to raise me back up and continue my walk with Him. Sometimes when we read the word righteous we think of somebody that is more holy than we are but it really just means someone who is right. And to be right we must be right with God. There are times that God will take people out of this world that seem like they should be left here because of who they are and what they’re doing. Isaiah Chapter 57 and verse one says, the righteous perishes, and no man takes it to heart; Merciful men are taken away, while no one considers that the righteous is taken away from evil. I think of my twin brother Pastor Mike and my son in law Jerek Foster Who were taken out of this life far too early and maybe the reason is, Is because they were delivered from evil It could be evil that is to come upon them or just the evil of this world. For those that are left on this planet we are assured that we will rise again And I take that in a couple of ways. First that we can rise above our circumstances whatever they may be and second that we will rise again in the resurrection on the last day and God is In control of it all. But the wicked shall fall by calamity speaks for itself! Follow Jesus, and you will end up in heaven and that is a guarantee! have a blessed weekend and always remember that Jesus loves you!
