Who Knows What Tomorrow May Bring

Good Monday morning to you all and pray for our country. We are going through the biggest spiritual battle that we have ever had in the United States of America. Pray for victory! And all of you Christians know exactly what I’m talking about! Our devotion on this Monday is called, ” Who knows what tomorrow may bring? ” Proverbs Chapter 27 verses one and two says, Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth. Let another man praise you, And not your own mouth; A stranger, And not your own lips. Bragging about the future is not a wise thing to do because we do not know even what this afternoon will bring. God only knows what each day is going to bring forth whether it will be sorrow or joy, Laughter or sorrow, Or maybe even the rapture of the church. If we are going to brag at all let our bragging be on the Lord and what he has done for us. Let another man praise you? This tells me that we shouldn’t stop people from complimenting us if we are doing something good but we should always give God the glory. A stranger? Tells me we should be letting our light shine before men that they would see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven, Matthew chapter 5 and verse 16. I guess you could say that this all comes down to love. Leviticus chapter 19 and verse 18 says, But you shall love your neighbor as yourself, I am the Lord. And Jesus quotes this in Matthew chapter 22 verses 37 through 39, Jesus said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it; You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Loving your neighbor says you will help. My last conversation with my son-in-law Jerek, We were talking about a little lady that he helped that was poor and he tarped her roof for free. That is helping your neighbor when you do something to comfort them and you pay for it out of your own pocket. Don’t be a boaster, be a doer. Remember please to pray for our ranch, Free Indeed Ranch, That everything will be provided that we need to go forward. We are praying about putting up a metal building. We are talking with the building department about that so we can keep people out of the hot sun and rainy days when we gather on the first Saturday of every month. And please continue to pray for our family for healing, Especially my daughter Melainie and Jerrick’s Mom Fran. Have a wonderful blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
