Good morning or afternoon or night whenever you read this and thank you to everyone who came on the live feed last night on Youtube Pastormark3580, It was a great time of fellowship. Our Devotion on this Thursday it’s called, ” Singing and rejoicing”. Proverbs chapter 29 and verse six says, By transgression an evil man is snared, But the righteous sings and rejoices. To be snared means to be caught into something and that something could be alcohol, Drugs, Immoral relationships and on and on. It calls it a transgression and an evil person which means it is someone who is delighting in doing evil And they’re completely caught up in doing that. Even though it might look like a lot of fun on the outside, They are really like an animal trapped in a cage that can’t get out and it’s a pitiful thing. It is just the opposite with the righteous or let’s just say those that are doing right before God. They are free and they are singing and rejoicing as they go along the path of life without anything holding them back. It would seem like it would be an easy choice but the devil is so crafty and in John chapter 10 and verse 10 it says that the devil comes to kill to steal and to destroy and then right after that Jesus says but I have come to give you life and that more abundantly. And that is a life that sings and rejoices in Jesus. So which path are you on? Are you dabbling in some sort of sin that is beginning to drag you down and hold you there. Getting caught up in that type of a lifestyle doesn’t happen overnight and it catches us unaware. But there’s a way out and it’s by calling on the name of Jesus and meaning it from your heart! Romans 10 verses 9 and 10 says, That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, You will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, And with the mouth confession is made unto salvation and in verse 13 of Romans 10 it says, For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. The choice is up to you, Which way will you go, Stakes are just a little too high, Gambling with your soul. Have a blessed day and always remember Jesus loves you
