A Good Way To Live

Good day to you all from the great state of Texas and I pray you’re having a blessed day whenever this devotion finds you and it is, ” A good way to live ” Proverbs chapter Three verses 27 and 28 say, do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power and your hand to do so, do not say to your neighbor, go, and come back, when you have it with you. Jesus said in Matthew chapter 22 verses 37 through 39 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart with all your Soul, And with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.

To be a really good witness for God we need to start at home and then go out from there which would be our neighbor whoever that might be. When me and my twin brother Pastor Mike were first saved I moved in with him and Reina because me and Tina weren’t married yet and our neighbors on both sides were horrible neighbors and because we were new Christians I probably wasn’t the best example in the world. But I know what it’s like to have a bad neighbor and that is a great opportunity to share the love of Jesus with them. A good way to live is the way Christ taught us to live in Sermon on the Mount Matthew 5 through 7.

Proverbs 3 verse 27 says do not withhold good from those whom it is due and I believe Christ would have us not withhold good to just about anybody because John 316 says God loves them all! Who are you struggling with today? Maybe start praying for them and then at the right opportunity try and work things out. Let’s let our light shine in more ways than one in these crazy days we’re living in. Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you
