A Good Word

Happy Friday and thank you for your prayers, Jason and Michelle are here safely and please pray for a young man named Kayden. He rides with Crucified Motorcycle Ministry and yesterday he went to the doctor because of heart issues. Please pray for healing. Our devotion today is called, ” A good word ” Proverbs Chapter 12 and verse 25 says, Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad. You know sometimes we run into people that have attitudes or might be depressed or seem distant. And the thing is, we have no idea what this person’s life has been like. There has been so much abuse in this world for years and years and so often what a person will try to do is hide it from everybody else and they might do that through anger or other ways.

I know that in Philippians chapter 4 and verse 6 it says to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with Thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God. But not everybody knows that verse and there are those that might come to church to see what church people are like! And I believe before we judge someone for their attitude we should try and give them a good word. A good word is just that, A word that would be encouraging, A word that might brighten up their day and make them think there’s hope in their life. It says here in proverbs a good word makes a heart glad. Isn’t that awesome. And it’s that simple that by saying some good things to somebody we can make a person’s heart joyful. A good word seems so simple but it can do so much. Have a blessed weekend and please continue to pray for our military in Iran and for our country and Israel for complete victory. Oh yeah and always remember that Jesus loves you!
