Happy Friday to you all and let’s keep the Lord on our mind during this weekend. Please pray for Our daughter Melainie she is in the hospital with stomach problems. Our devotion on this Friday is called “A way that seems right”. Proverbs chapter 14 and verse 12 says, there is a way that seems right to a man, but it’s end is the way of death. Years ago me and my brother Pastor Mike were on a job and there was a young man we were sharing the gospel with and he said he used to go to church but didn’t go anymore and so we shared this verse with him all those years ago. And I remember so clearly him coming to work the next week and telling us I went to church on Sunday.
The word of God is so amazing this verse touched that young man’s heart because he thought he Thought he was OK. How many religions think they are OK? Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, Muslims, and anyone else who is not born again, and looking to Jesus for their salvation. Jesus made it so clear in John, chapter 14, and verse six when He said, I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father except through me. I had a young man do a chimney sweep at our house a few months ago, and I shared with him the reason I believe Jesus was the way to heaven. And I told him Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophecies in the Old Testament. The people of his time murdered him, Put him on a cross, and he rose from the dead, and there is so much proof that that happened! This young man was from Israel, and believed in keeping the law, and let me tell you nobody can keep the law and nobody can get to heaven apart from Jesus Christ. Look to him today and secure your salvation. Have a blessed weekend and always remember that Jesus loves you!
