Good day to you all and I pray you had a blessed memorial weekend. Please pray that the right people get voted in in our next elections. Also please pray for my great niece Maddison, she is going through some things right now and needs your prayer! Our devotion is called, ” Be friendly. ” Proverbs chapter 18 and verse 24 says, a man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. We’ve heard all the sayings you’re my BFF, friends for life, Best friend But what about friends? In other words a lot of friends? To have friends a person must be friendly. One who is not just a friend to one but to whoever they meet and I really believe there are not many people like that today. Why? Because of the world we live in. There are so many people who have been hurt by somebody they trusted! And I can totally understand having the wall up so to speak. At the same time I think we can miss out on some great friendships by being unfriendly. There is one person in this world that you do not need to have a wall up to and that person is Jesus! right here it says there is one that sticks closer than a brother and there’s no doubt that it’s speaking of Jesus. Closer than a brother? Now that’s a really close friend! That is a friend who won’t let you down, who will be there for you when no one else will. No matter what your case might be, being friendly might help another person just like you that has been done wrong by somebody. And you might be the person that starts the healing in their life! Be friendly because somebody needs a friend out there. Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
