Good day to you all and happy Friday. Yesterday early afternoon our little baby granddaughter Eleanor James Lewis was born into this world and we got to see her last night on video time and what a blessing she is, a beautiful precious little baby girl thank you for your prayers. Once again please continue to pray for ice and I believe the President should use the Insurrection Act which was last used in 1992. That is when things get so out of hand the leaders of the country need to send in military action and I believe we’re at that point because they are attacking ICE officers every day for doing their job So please pray pray pray.
Our devotion today is called, “Casting stones” John Chapter 8 verse 7 says, So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, he who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first. We all know the story of the woman caught in adultery, it says she was caught in the very act but the man is nowhere to be found. I believe this was a setup. No one knows what Jesus was writing on the ground but whatever it was caused them to leave from the oldest to the youngest. Our Lord did the things He did through compassion of course and love but also for example.
The example He gave with this lady whoever she was, was not to condemn her or make her feel less than anybody else but remember what He said to her, He said who condemns you? And she said no one. Think about this, the only one there that was without sin was Jesus and He chose not to condemn but what He did say was go and sin no more! We should never condone sin but at the same time we should never condemn it either because the Bible teaches very clearly that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God Romans 3:23. The Bible says by this you shall know they are my disciples by the love they have one for another, John 13:35. Let’s love each other and encourage each other not to sin, and to follow Jesus. Have a blessed weekend and always remember Jesus loves you!
