Do Not Enter

Good morning everybody and happy Tuesday. Our devotion today is called, ” Do not enter ” Proverbs Chapter 4 and verse 14 says, do not enter the path of the wicked, And do not walk in the way of evil. Ephesians chapter 5 and verse 11 says, and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. The Bible is very clear that we are not too buddy up so to speak with the evil of this world. Does that mean that we do not go around them at all? No! Jesus hung around with those types of people and that’s the reason the Pharisees called Him names like a winebibber in Matthew 11:19. That means that He ate and drank with the unbelievers. But what Jesus did not do is sin.

Romans chapter 10 and verse 14 says, How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? So it is obvious that God wants us in this world but not of this world. He has no problem with us being around unbelievers but to not go along with what they are doing as far as sin goes. Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of evil. It’s very clear that God does not want us to partake of the evil of this world but to let them know that Jesus loves them and He went to that cross for them and rose on the third day for them and for us to make a way into heaven. Be careful not to judge those who are going into the lion’s den for God. Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
