Do Not Stray

Good day to you all from Texas and I pray you have a blessed day and remember to pray for our great country, for our leadership and our ICE agents out there cleaning our country up. Please continue to pray. Our devotion on this Monday is called, ” Do not stray ” Proverbs Chapter 7 verses 24 through 27 says, now therefore, listen to me, my children, Pay attention to the words of my mouth. Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, do not stray into her paths, For she has cast down many wounded, and all who were slain by her were strong men. Her house is the way to hell, descending to the chambers of death. These verses are speaking of an immoral woman but it could also be an immoral man Or drugs Or alcohol Or anger or any of the things that will lead you down a path of destruction.

I remember years ago sitting at a traffic light in my car and I looked over and on the corner there was a pretty young girl looking at me smiling And these verses came to mind and I looked straight ahead. It is easy to stray off the straight and narrow path if we are not careful because there are so many things in this world to sidetrack us. But what will keep us on the straight and narrow path is when we have a good study life and a good prayer life and a good fellowship life. It will keep our mind occupied with the good things like the Bible says to redeem the time for the days are evil, Ephesians 5:16. Do not stray, learn to stay, on that narrow way, can we all say, AMEN! love you all from Texas and always remember that Jesus loves you!
