Instruction, Understanding and a Good Doctrine From a Good Father

Happy Friday to everybody and I pray you have a blessed weekend. Please pray for me, I will be going before United clubs of Texas to present Crucified Motorcycle Ministry to them. Pray we find favor! Our devotion on this Friday is called, ” Instruction, understanding and a good doctrine from a good father ” Proverbs Chapter 4 verses one through four says, Here, My children, The instruction of a father, And give attention to know understanding. For I give you good doctrine. Do not forsake my law. When I was my father’s son, Tender and the only one in the sight of my mother, He also taught me, and said to me, let your heart retain my words, keep my commands and live. Solomon gives us insight on his father King David giving instruction to him as a child and that it was from the word of God and it’s an instruction that every father should be teaching their children.

David tells Solomon keep my commands and live And there’s no doubt that David was telling Solomon about God’s word and how important it is to keep it. The instruction David gives to Solomon leads to understanding which is from good teaching. We sing the song good good Father and we are speaking of our Heavenly Father and how good He is. When we have a good relationship with our Heavenly Father it certainly makes us a better Father to our children. Because we have the instruction from a perfect Father on how to be a good father ourselves. Even though we are imperfect human beings we can learn a great deal from a perfect Father in heaven on raising our children. And being a good example to our grandchildren. Amen? Have a wonderful blessed weekend and always remember that Jesus loves you!
