Good day to you all from Texas. And thank you to those that like and comment on these devotions. Please pray for Smitty and Birdman from crucified motorcycle ministry. They are leaving today for Tennessee on their motorcycles so pray for traveling mercies. Our devotion today is called, “ let’s get rooted and built up in Jesus “ Colossians chapter 2 verse seven says, rooted, and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with Thanksgiving. we get rooted in the Lord in a few different ways. One is through trials. I’ve heard that when the wind blows hard on a tree, the roots grow deeper down into the ground, and that’s what happens with us and also we get rooted by studying God‘s word. established is a word that means to confirm or stabilize. I definitely want to be established in my faith. And this is something according to verse seven that is taught. We have access to so much teaching today. There is no reason why we can’t be taught every day. You can Google Pastor Chuck Smith, or Pastor John Courson or J Vernon McGee and be taught the word of God, it’s so important. I have been a Christian now for 41 years and I still don’t feel like I know very much. There is so much in the word of God to learn from Genesis to revelation it would take you 10 lifetimes to study it all and even then I don’t think you would completely understand. like one old pastor said, you can go knee-deep in God‘s word or you can go scuba diving. Either way, let’s get rooted and built up so we can be ready for any fight that comes our way. Love you all from Texas and thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray for Free indeed Ranch because we are about to have the building delivered And then we’re waiting on the permits to be approved so please pray that this goes as smoothly as possible and always remember that Jesus loves you
