No Praise For The Lazy

Good day to you all and happy Friday from the great state of Texas. Our Devotion on this Friday is called, “No praise for the lazy” Proverbs Chapter 10 and verse 26 says, As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is the lazy man to those who send him. I ran a small business in California for years and I know that depending on somebody that is lazy puts a lot of strain on the business. When you depend on somebody to do something and they don’t do it is really hard. It says here in proverbs that it is like vinegar to the teeth and smoke to your eyes, which both of those things are very irritating. Proverbs Chapter 6 and verse 6 says, Go to the Ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise. Those little ants can carry things 10 times bigger than they are or bigger than that and they are always on the go.

If you’re a lazy person don’t be offended but fight against laziness because we can overcome laziness if we put our mind to it. I know that it’s not pleasurable doing nothing! or it’s not satisfying not getting anything done! I believe laziness leads to craziness because an idle mind is the devil’s workshop. Don’t allow the enemy to win in your life, get up, and start being a better person.

Remember what the scripture says in Philippians chapter 4 verse 13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. And Mark chapter 10 verse 27 Which says, with man it is impossible but with God all things are possible. Hopefully somebody needs to hear this and hopefully somebody can rise up and be a better person, The person that God has called them to be and God has not called anybody to do nothing! Have a blessed weekend and always remember that Jesus loves you!
