Put It On

Happy Friday to everybody and have a blessed weekend. “Put it on ” Is the title of our devotion today. Colossians Chapter Three and verse 10 says, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him. This verse tells me that we have our part in becoming an example for Christ. This verse says that we are to put on the new man or woman who is renewed in the knowledge according to the image of God. We put on the new person by studying the word of God and learning the character of God And then we ask God to help us become more like Him. We will never be perfect as far as doing everything right but we sure can get a lot better than what we are now by reading God’s word and asking God to help us become the people of God that we are supposed to be.

I’m not what I want to be in Christ yet, but I’m so glad that I’m not what I used to be either! Don’t ever give up on becoming a better person because the devil will always try to discourage you when you fail. But remember, Christ took our sin upon that cross and now He is ready to forgive every time. So next time the devil reminds you of your past, remind him of his future. He’s going to hell and we’re going to heaven and that’s the bottom line. So put it on, the whole armor of God Ephesians 6, the love of God Galatians 5 and continue to fight the good fight of faith 1st Timothy 6! We love you from Texas and please continue to Pray for our ICE agents, National Guard, police, and for our hurting brothers and sisters, and pray for Steve King, Tom Prokop, Ruben Ramirez. Pray without ceasing, first Thessalonians 5:17 And always remember that Jesus loves you!
