Good Monday morning to everybody and I pray y’all have a blessed, blessed day. I have been locked out of my password one so I am doing my devotional on my phone. The title of this devotion is called. “ Reconciled with a smile “ Colossians chapter 1 verse 21 says, and you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled. The word alienated here means transferred to another owner. We were under the ownership of Satan, and we were blinded by him to not see who God really is. Ephesians , chapter 2, verse one says, and you He made alive, Who were dead in trespasses and sins. I was an enemy in my mind towards God. Romans, chapter 8 verse six says, for to be carnally, minded, or fleshly is death, But to be spiritually, minded is life and peace. He has reconciled us, in other words, closed the gap between me and Himself and now I am a child of God. Reconciled with a smile on my face, because now I have the joy of the Lord and I know where I am headed to. Are you still eating the pig slop of this world or has God put a new heart inside of you that no longer wants to live that old life? We can be an enemy to the ways of God or we can be a friend we can make excuses for sin, or we can confess them to Him. Be reconciled, and you will end up with a smile because you have found the reason for your being here on planet earth.
