For we brought nothing into this world and it is certain we can carry nothing out. The old saying you never see a Hearse with a U-haul behind it, It is true. Of course that doesn’t mean that we can’t have nice things But at the same time we should set our affection towards heaven like Colossians 3:1 says. To be content where we are is such a blessing. We don’t have to strive, overwork, wheel and deal and steal To be happy. Why? Because God fills us with himself which makes us realize the purpose of our being here. I have satisfaction guaranteed by serving the Lord Jesus Christ.
There are so many things in this world that sounds so good but once you get into it it isn’t. It used to be that all the alcohol commercials would show young people all fit and trim and healthy looking while they’re drinking but the truth is that life leads to destruction and it’s not satisfying whatsoever. The two greatest things that I ever did was give my life to Jesus and Mary Tina. And I can honestly say that making a decision to follow Jesus has led to satisfaction guaranteed. King David said taste and see that the Lord is good and you will never know until you do just that. Until you decide for yourself to make Christ first in your life.
