Silent Night

Good day to everybody and I pray you have a blessed Thursday. And I would like to wish my beautiful wife a happy birthday today and we are going to celebrate. ” Silent Night ” Is the title of our devotion today. The song Silent Night originated in Australia in 1818, pinned by priest Joseph Mohr and composed by schoolmaster Franz Xaver Gruber in the village of Oberndorf near Salzburg, First performed with guitar accompaniment because the church organ was broken, The song spread globally through traveling musicians and missionaries, becoming a worldwide phenomenon with its message of peace, eventually being translated into hundreds of languages.

Isaiah Chapter 30 and verse 15 says for thus says the Lord God, the holy One of Israel, in returning and rest you shall be saved, in quietness and confidence shall be your strength. What a beautiful song Silent Night is and what a beautiful savior we serve who came all those years ago and was born to die for us, to take away our sin and rise again on the 3rd day. Silent Night, holy night, All is calm, all is bright Round yon virgin, mother and child holy infant, so tender and mild Sleep in heavenly peace sleep in heavenly peace. You could only imagine Joseph and Mary and the Shepherd boys gazing at this little child in the Manger and knowing that this is the Messiah of Israel. Have a blessed day and keep Jesus in the center of your holidays. And always remember that Jesus loves you!
