Good morning everybody. This is the first day of the last month of 2025 and this year went by like a warm summer day. ” Sunrise OR Son rise ” Is the title of our devotion today. Either one shows the faithfulness of God. Sunrise, Habakkuk 3:11 says, The sun and the moon stood still in their habitation, At the light of your arrows they went, at the shining of your glittering spear. Son rise, Matthew chapter 20 verse 19 says and deliver Him to the gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify, And the third day He will rise again. Years ago I was at the 76 gas station while the sun was coming up on Ramona Expressway and the 215 Freeway and the sunrise was something I wish I could’ve took a picture of. It looked as if it was a seashore coming down to the earth and it only lasted a few minutes and it was like God opened up the heavens and let me see a little bit because I was hurting so bad from my brother passing.
Like we see in the book of Habakkuk God can stop that sunrise anytime He wants but He is faithful to bring that sun up every morning and was faithful to send His Son all those years ago to die upon the cross and to rise the third day from the dead for you and I. Whether it’s a sunrise OR a Son rise, It is all to the glory of Almighty God who works everything together for His glory. Don’t ever take a sunrise or a sunset for granted, we are not guaranteed tomorrow, but if God still has you here on this planet, it is to glorify Him. Have a blessed day and please continue to pray for our ICE agents, our National Guard, our police and for Steve King, Tom Prokop, and Ruben Ramirez. And always remember that Jesus loves you!
