Trusting, Leaning and Acknowledging

Good day to you all and I pray you have a great great day. A few people I would like to put up here for prayer, starting with Steve King, and pastor Tom Procop, Gerald Burchell, Marty Nelson, Ruben Ramirez. All of these have serious health issues. Please if you can keep them in your prayers. Our Devotion is called, ” Trusting, leaning and acknowledging ” Proverbs chapter 3 and verse 5 and 6 says, Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Trusting is sometimes easy and sometimes it is not but it is the right thing to do. When we trust in someone that means we are putting our faith and belief into that person and if anybody has earned that trust It is Jesus. When we trust we lean on whatever it is we are trusting in.

We used to sing a song at church that John Bell wrote called I’ll Lean on you And that’s exactly what we need to do as we trust in the Lord is to lean on Him for our needs and wants. And understanding comes from trusting leaning and having Jesus be the center of our life. And it is only then that we will begin to understand the faithfulness and the goodness of God and begin to understand His love towards us. And when this is happening, God will direct our paths. And I know that every child of God wants the Lord to direct their path, to lead them in the paths of righteousness. King David wrote in Psalm 23 that He makes me lie down in green pastures. That is the leading of the Lord, to lead us into those places where we are blessed and fruitful. I hope this ministers to you in some way because God’s Word always ministers to my heart. Have a wonderful blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
